We are anticipating the arrival of a sweet 5 year old girl and 2.5 (he might be 3?) year old boy come the first of the year. In three weeks, we will be a family of 7 and expecting the 8th! Yes- some days I feel I should check my temperature or at least give myself a few slaps in the face to make sure I'm really awake/alive ;) But really, there is no better way for our family to change & grow! Needless to say, we are very excited!
However, there is always the need for prayer! In this particular situation, we are praying that nothing changes in the next three weeks. That the well being, safety, health, and overall interest of these children will always be put first. Even if for some reason they don't end up in our family, that they end up in another loving home. Pray for them/us/this situation, please!
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Matthew 18:19
We know God has a plan for them and for our family, and we are believing that these children will be apart of ours!
-Ps- We are moving the foster care portion of our blog to a new, private blog. http://www.fosterawareness.blogspot.com
If you would like to follow along our fostering journey with more detail, comment & leave me your email address so I can give you access to the private blog! In this blog, I will be giving just general information & updates.

The waiting is so hard, isn't it? Hoping these two are a wonderful addition to your family for however long the Lord places them there. I would love to watch your journey unfold.

I would love to follow your foster blog! I need some magic though- my blog is techincally connected to my personal email, but my blog email is what shows. So, can you email me at foryoubylove@gmail.com and then I can email you my personal email privately? :) That would be so much better than posting it here!
