Yummy new family favorite

I must say- my new years resolution to cook more has been the only resolution that is going really, really well!
One of our new favorite things for breakfast is REAL (not packets) oatmeal, in the slow cooker. Yum! Yes, I've been a mother almost five years now and I've never made real oatmeal, until now.
My friend gave me a wonderful recipe for apple cinnamon oatmeal

6 apples, chopped.
2 cups of oats
1/3 cup sugar free syrup
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1.5 cup of milk
pinch of salt




Mix all the ingredients together, put in the crock pot. You can cook it 2 different ways, on high for 30-45 minutes (great for mornings!) or on low for 7 hours (great for making the night before, which is what I do!)

Enjoy! Super easy, so yummy!
